Terms of Service

URLDrop ("URLDrop," "we," "us," or "our") operates the URLDrop website and related services.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of URLDrop, including URL shortening, account features, subscription services, analytics, and related functionality (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using URLDrop, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

• You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to use URLDrop.
• URLDrop is not intended for children under 13.
• Users under 18 should use the Service only with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian.

2. URLDrop Service

• URLDrop provides tools that allow users to shorten URLs and, depending on their account or plan, manage links and related information.
• URLDrop may provide both free and paid features.
• Features, usage limits, link expiration periods, analytics, and functionality may vary by account type and subscription plan.

3. QuickDrops and Account Links

• URLDrop may allow users to create shortened URLs without creating an account.
• These links may be subject to different expiration periods and limitations than links created through registered accounts.
• The applicable expiration period or limitation should be disclosed when a link is created or within the relevant account interface.
• URLDrop does not guarantee that shortened URLs will remain active indefinitely unless a specific URLDrop feature expressly provides otherwise.

4. Accounts

• Some URLDrop features require an account.
• Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and for activity occurring through their accounts.
• Users agree to provide accurate information and notify URLDrop if they believe their account has been accessed without authorization.

5. Shortened Links

URLDrop does not control or endorse third-party websites reached through shortened URLs. URLDrop may disable or restrict a shortened URL when reasonably necessary because of:

• violations of these Terms
• violations of the Acceptable Use Policy
• phishing
• malware
• fraud
• spam
• security threats
• illegal activity
• applicable legal requirements

6. URLDrop Pro

• URLDrop may offer paid subscription plans, including URLDrop Pro.
• Current pricing, billing frequency, and included features will be displayed before purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew at the applicable billing interval unless canceled.
• Users may cancel their subscriptions through their URLDrop accounts.
• Unless otherwise disclosed, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period.
• The user retains Pro access until that date.
• When a Pro subscription ends, the account may revert to the Free plan and become subject to the features, limitations, and expiration rules applicable to that plan.
• Account data is not automatically deleted solely because a Pro subscription ends.
• Payments are processed through Stripe. URLDrop does not directly store complete payment card information.

7. Refunds

• Except where required by law, subscription payments are generally non-refundable once a billing period begins.

8. Acceptable Use

• URLDrop may not be used for unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, harmful, abusive, or malicious activity.
• Use of URLDrop is subject to the URLDrop Acceptable Use Policy.

9. Third-Party Websites

• Shortened URLs may direct users to third-party websites.
• URLDrop is not responsible for the content, availability, security, privacy practices, products, or services of third-party websites.

10. Service Availability

• URLDrop works to provide a reliable service but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
• Features may occasionally be modified, suspended, or discontinued for maintenance, technical, security, legal, or business reasons.

11. Intellectual Property

• The URLDrop name, branding, logos, interface, software, designs, and original content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
• Use of URLDrop does not transfer ownership of URLDrop intellectual property to users.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

• To the extent permitted by applicable law, URLDrop is provided "as is" and "as available."
• URLDrop does not guarantee that the Service will always be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or suitable for every particular purpose.

13. Limitation of Liability

• To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, URLDrop and its operators, service providers, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of or inability to use the Service.

14. Suspension and Termination

URLDrop may suspend or terminate accounts or individual links when reasonably necessary because of:

• violations of these Terms
• violations of the Acceptable Use Policy
• security concerns
• fraudulent activity
• abuse
• legal requirements
• threats to URLDrop or its users

15. Changes to These Terms

• URLDrop may update these Terms periodically.
• The Effective Date at the top of the page will indicate the latest revision.
• For material changes, URLDrop may provide additional notice when appropriate.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
